He broke the chains of sin and hell; He broke the chains at Calvary’s hill;

He took those thorns upon His head, And was laid to rest when He was dead;

He arose from His grave triumphantly, With all of God’s authority,

So why not come to a Love so sweet,

To the One who put death, hell and sickness under His feet;

The One who was there when life begun,

The One they call God’s only Son,

So reach out to that nail pierced hand,

When sorrow, turmoil and disaster have come to your land;

For the Son of Man has conquered all,

So reach to Him before you fall,

He’ll love you so sweet and tenderly;

And there’s no better place that could be.
